Default WTB - black gauge faces / gauge cluster

Greetings,

I recently purchased GuyIncognito's '04 silver car. An '88 Carrera, '88 930, '73 911S, '93 RSA and '03 986S were my previous cars. This car seems to have the best of all of them (and then some). Needless to say, I'm having a blast.

For a spring project, does anyone have stock black gauge faces or a complete gauge cluster with black dials they are willing to sell? PM or e-mail is fine.

Cheers
Roland

saw my friend do it on his C4, it's pretty easy, plug and play. What are you going to do about the Odo?

Doesnt the odo is stored in the ecu? i have my whole guage(black leather with deviated red stiching) cluster off with silver face. Not a fan of th silver guage face- rather have black face. Mike

There is one for sale on ebay now. The add is for an engine and transaxle out of a wrecked 2005 996 GT3.

My understanding is a new/different cluster will need to be reprogrammed to match my current mileage.

Enthusiast, I'm following up on the Ebay lead... much appreciated.

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

Cheers

Bump for OE black gauge faces (or complete cluster) you have collecting dust.

I have turbo's black gauge faces. From an UK model, so MPH speedo, but temps in Celsicius .

I also have this:

BUT, it's a Carrera's cluster, so wrong rpm scale and totally unsuitable oil pressure measurement system. Although you cold take the temperature gauge face from it...

AND, because I'm a lousy seller, check this: FVD

Thanks Pete, for all three options. If I don't find a set of black ones specific to the 6GT3, I may take you up on those gauges.

I had seen FVD's parts. I figured more folks would've replaced their black dials with other colored ones. We'll see if any of them chimes in.

Cheers
Roland
