PM sent. Midnight Blue & Natural with 5,800 miles, second owner, purchased as Porsche Certified in 2008. No track, have a race car for that.

Richard Sloan (I've read the mixed reviews) has a low miles silver, pricey GT3, and wondering if anyone knows about this car:

Don't know the car, but have heard nothing but good things about Sloan.

A friend got a car from Richard two months ago sight unseen, and another is flying down there this morning to look at a couple of air-cooled turbos.

Yeah, Slone has had some emails with me about various cars that I had for sale for friends - or some of his that friends were thinking of buying. He always seemed pretty professional. I think his silver GT3 is priced well for a Slone car. But I am not one of those guys who looks for the cheapest car either.

JLR, i've heard mixed reviews on Sloan as well. i was looking at a car they had and called a few close shops about a PPI and no one would do it. sure seemed odd to me.

and 64K for that car sure seems high to me. i've not paid too close attention but should that car, no obvious upgrades, not be in the high 50's vs the middle 60's?

just my 3 cents FWIW

Did these shops give you a specific reason as to why they would not do the ppi. Of course, if I were to get serious about this car, this would be the next step, finding a good shop for a ppi in Connecticut. Agreed that the price is a bit high, but apparently the vehicle is also listed on European Motorcars website (another used dealer in Middletown, Ct).

Spoke to Sloan regards his silver 04. He recommended several shops for PPI around New Haven (Wallingford Porsche, Wheelers, Nino's). At my expense, I could flatbed the car out of town for a truly independent inspection, which is what I would surely do if I proceed. Any recommendations for PPI in Connecticut, other than the seller's list?

I need the VIN to see if I have anything on that GT3.

Understand you point on the 'track time' cars but there are unmodified GT3 that have very little track time and I recommend not ruling them out.

The Vin from the Carfax that Richard sent along is:
VIN: WP0AC29914S692563

No, not opposed to more-or-less stock cars with a few DEs on them.
