FYI to GT3 owners. I have found the perfect combination. I purchased a set of Tomioka Racing Super Slopes ramps for $60 that makes using my jackpoints a one step operation. Unfortunately my jack along with the low profile jack pad still would not fit under my car. Using pieces of wood proved to be a pita. The super slopes don't slip & slide when driving up on them and give me an extra 2.5" inches of clearance. Wood may be cheaper, but the ramps are definitely easier.

Just wondering which jack you're using.

I use the harbor freight blue jack that everybody has. My GT3 is lowered 10mm and I just can't get it under with the jackpoint plate. So I just jack normally, put a 2" piece of wood under the wheel, then re-jack with the jackpoint plate. Great product, I'll probably pick up another set to get my car up on all 4s.

Post some pictures sounds like a good idea!

Talking

Jpoint,

I have a old us general #47246 that is about 10 years old. It works great with the jackpoints, but the saddle height is just a little bit shy of fitting under my car with the low profile plate. The low profile ramps make getting the car on the stands a breeze.

Number 54,

I am too lazy to jack twice

Do you have them in Switzerland?

Not sure what you are talking about specifically, but my car, jack, and jackstands are all in Switzerland, so yes.

I just didn't think any had shipped to Switzerland, but now I know those were purchased here and moved. What do the Swiss think of 'em?

^^^ They love taxing them

But seriously, only good feedback. Lots of nice cars and deep pockets in my area, you should get a distributor here so I don't have to ship myself another pair!

I spoke to the Fed at SEMA. Turns out Uncle Sam is happy to help US producers export products. Balance of trade, etc. The possibility is on the radar.

What part of Switzerland are you in?

Just a partial update. We've received commodity classification numbers from the fed and started shipping to off shore locations. There are no distributors yet so the shipping is still pretty expensive. We've seen rates to Sweden at about $160/pair but they cleared Swedish customs 6 days after we shipped. That may have been luck. Brazil was higher, Canada lower.
