I have been cleaning up my Mk1 clubsport, which has involved getting the cage powdercoated as it was a bit untidy. Does anyone know where I can get that protector strip that goes over the harness bar to stop the harnesses rubbing?

Not sure of exactly what you are referring to, but we often use what is referred to as helicopter tape (used on the leading edges of copter blades) on the roll bar sections that take a lot of abuse from climbing in and out. Keeps them looking pretty, which is really what is important. Hope this helps.

We call that stuff ventureshield. I want the factory look for the rollcage so will look into the 3M stuff for the horizontal bar. That would be a good alternative to the foam I currently use for the front section though.
Thanks
