Default Winter Plans for the GT3

Planning on doing some maintenance and a couple of other little mods in the 3 this winter while she waits for spring.

Maintenance Wise
  • Front Brakes
  • Spark Plugs
  • Fuel Filter
  • Serpentine Belt
  • Air Filter
  • Cabin Filter
  • Oil Change

I will be doing a DIY article for each of these to help those who want to save some money and do their work themselves. Going to replace them all with OEM parts, unless someone can recommend anything better?

Also, im looking to touch up the interior a little bit. Here is what i would like to do...
  • Alcantara Wheel
  • Alcantara Shift Boot
  • Possibly Alcantara Inserts on the Seats
  • 997 Shifter

What do you all have planned for the winter?

Rennline solid motor mounts
Rennline track mat

Maybe spark plugs.. I have the parts, but would like to see your DIY first (w/ pics, I hope!) so I know what I am getting into!

I changed the air filter 5,000 miles ago. I will change when it has 10k miles on the filter.

Oil change and tranny fluid change at the beginning of next track season, at the shop.. so they can do my tech inspection..

Of course it will be with pictures! Quick question, what P/N do you have for the plugs?

Suncoast i see 999 170 195 90 but my supplier is showing a P/N of 999 170 183 90

Fluids all around here plus some tires and an alignment.

Sweet another Boston area GT3'er. We'll have to do a local meet next summer.

high speed runs
New rear tires
Buying gas

I may be delayed a bit for the test run - 2 feet of snow expected for tomorrow.
