Europipe. I fancy one pretty badly.
What are your impressions thus far Dudley?

What Brad!? If not with gold wheels, how are you gonna offend my delicate taste? Lol.

I have not started the car yet but I am very impressed with the fit.
Steff, at Europipe, has been great to work with.

Hey Dudley,

Is there a write-up floating around on how to change the serpentine belt?

I found the DIY for changing the Polyrib belt on a 996 at Renntech.org
http://www.renntech.org/forums/index...-polyrib-belt/

The 6GT3 is a little different because there is very little room to access the nut on the tension pulley.
Here is what I did:
https://rennlist.com/forums/996-gt2-...2-polyrib.html

I am also glad that I sketched out the belt path before hand.

Fired the car in the garage today and the sound is wild. The burbling on the way down is perfect.
I can't wait until the snow melts. I am one happy camper.

Awesome to know that the sound is good for you.
Is that the regular Europipe system?

Yes, it is the regular system. I wonder if the loud system would satisfy the sound limit at Mt Tremblant Le Circuit.

For some crazy reason, I decided to buff and polish the Europipe system before before installation

The installed system was gorgeous, I even put on a coat of Rejex. I know, ****.

So yesterday, I re-installed the rear bumper and despite the wet roads, I had to take her for a test run. Oh, the sound! It sounds like a Porsche!
When I got home, I washed the car from top to bottom. When I look underneath, my shiny, polished finish was gone. In it's place was a golden bronze patina - I think I like the bronze much better.
