This has to be a sign, or at least the definition of irony. I just started a thread asking for advise as to whether or not I should keep my 19s or get some 18" track wheels... and then I see this.

I'm not ready right this minute, so I'm sure that these will be gone by the time I am. But if I decide to go ahead, I might be able to pick them up if you are not in a rush.

Good luck, and I will be watching.

Man, I'm not sure about offets, etc. These are the ones I bought from the guy that had the black GT3 at VIR. Tires are 295/ and 245/35 18's. They are whatever was standard that CCW built for the GT3's. They've been sitting in my garage since I sold the car. Just hadn't had a chance to get them out and sell them. I'm pretty naive when it comes to rim sizes and offsets. Any way to measure? I'm out of town until Wed.

Not going to VIR Dell. Covered in work for awhile. Wished I could.

Working on it, just a bit technologically challenged.

Rog, that's too bad. Would have been nice to see you. We'll catch up soon. I have been swamped with this whole fatherhood thing The boys just turned 1 and 3 a couple weeks ago. Needless to say, a handful

As far as the wheels, unless the CCW guys have a serial number and catalog much like BBS and Fikse do then you probably would have a hard time with exact numbers. However, if they were off a GT3 my guess is front 9" and rear either 11 or 12" wide depending on who ordered them. The CCW guys seem to get confused with 996 and 997 often and try to sell 12" rears to the 996 guys. Regardless, I am sure they are perfect for a narrow body car like the GT3 since that is what they were made for.

Same here Dell. Can't believe they are already 1 and 3! Mine are 2 and 4 now as well. Time just flies by. They are a handful, but a good handful .

Yeah def good for 6GT3. I ran them for a weekend on it before I bought the new RS. So, must be 11's and 9's. I've got new 12's for the RS. Let me know if you come down this way or do anything at CMP. Blessings to you and yours.

my are 2 and 6. do not let the six kids ever get together. we will all go broke.

CCW usually makes 12" rear for 996gt3, unless you ask for 11"

Hmmm. Probably 12's. I don't think he ordered anything out of the ordinary...would have no reason to. But, I'll be back in town Wed and measure and take the guesswork out of it.

Heck Moot, we'll probably go broke just with our 2 kids by themselves! I actually have 4 total. I survived the 1st 2. My 1st 2 are old enough to have lives of their own, be married, have jobs and think I don't know anything about anything. It's nice to have little ones that still think you're superman.

I'm pretty sure the 12" rears have a small lip on them where the 11" rears do not. If I had to guess I'd say 11" rears.

Here's Steve's 12" rears for comparison....see the lip.

Hey Roger. I have two sets CCW wheels which I had made with the GT3 wheel specs which are:

8.5 X 18 ET 40 Front Hoosier 245/40 (9 X 18 does work as well)
11 X 18 ET63 Rear Hoosier 295/30

My 2001 Carrera is the same body wise as all 1999-2004 Carrera models and 996 GT3. So my guess is this should be the offset info as they fit your car. I do not think the rears would be 12" with these offsets.

I do not need another set but wish I did. Only one heat cycle on those Hoosiers makes this a very good deal! Maybe I will think about it for awhile!
