Oh yeah...lots. he had a cup car and he got rid of it and has plenty of parts from it.
Update on wrap....the tech is cursing a lot...it's going to take longer than hoped for. i should have the hood, roof and maybe a door or two done today.

Default Progress

So the wrap is underway but it won't be done too quickly; it's a long and tedious process. I'm ok with it though since it snowed here last night so I think i may just have all winter to finish it!
I'm using the 3M matte vinyl that is made for this sort of application. It has to be applied dry so it takes a great deal of time and skill to apply it without getting any creases.
So far the hood, roof and one door are done. By the end of the week it should be closer to completion.
Sorry for the iphone pics...

Tell me about it, I just did the interior on the 335 with 3M Di-Noc CF. Great work!!

Just notice the 997 clubsport rollbar. Ho oh, someone welded brackets on the floorboard, now it's definitely worth pennies on the market

stunning ... cant imagine how the hell you get that on without creases or bubbles ... if I tried it would eventually all end up wadded in a ball in a corner after a terrible 2's style temper tantrum!

Chris,
Does the wrap comes with other color? I like the RS Green! Where did you buy the film?

Thx

Michael

3M must make other colours...I've seen green and I've seen matte white as well.
I got the roll from Sticky Media in Montreal

It will be matte black with red accents including a set of OZ wheels. The BBS race wheels stay silver though...they are too pretty to paint.
Chris from Sticky is doing the wrap at my place tomorrow.
It should be mean looking when its done. Or very ugly...
I'll update the avatar soon!

Damn!!... Late to the party... as usual... Congrats on the new car Chris!!

Great colour choice too... Black!

don't pay any attention to guys who "Claim" red cars are faster...

clearly blue cars are faster since they appear blue this means they are accelerating away from you hence the 'blue shift' in the color spectrum of light reflected from them...
