Don't forget that a cup motor has to be rebuilt every 35 hours. What does that cost? With a stripped GT3 you can have 90% of a cup performance without the ridiculous maintenance. But then again, I have a horse in this race

Don't let Cup myths scare you. Talk to guys who know what they are talking about, like Seth, Glen, or Gordon Friedman. A true factory built car is the way to go.

cup motors WILL last for at least 100 hours. many many i know are 2x that hours. those motor probably will not win pro races, but for club racing, it will still be on the podium if the driver is up to it.
