ryan at suncoast is great.
but the RS wing is $6000 from them
i'll sell you one for $5500.

seriously though, look around, some RL will sell for $2000-24000

i just sold mine four weeks or so ago for about 2k.

the wing makes you 2 seconds faster but looks 10 seconds faster.

Paging all RL'ers that have one laying around. Scott needs a RS wing.

If no bites soon then wait until a 6-GT3 with a wing goes on the block. Often RL'ers will part out some track goodies and you can buy a wing then.

I've got an order in with Gert for the Cargraphic wing.

I was not able to talk with him beforehand, so I don't know if he has any in stock, but when /if it arrives, I'll take a bunch of pictures.

I made the decision that I'd rather have a new Cargraphic wing and still feel comfortable that the quality is there and that it won't fail on track.

NICE, congrats!

What made you go w/ Cargraphic vs. Manthey? Just curious..

How do they compare in terms of price?!

Thanks guys. I think between Carnewal and Cargraphic, this piece will meet my needs.

2nd day? Come one man, from East Coast to West Coast?! Check your PMs.

I trust the build quality of Cargraphic, and I trust Gert @ Carnewal; I don't think he would sell anything of questionable quality; his service is also some of the best, so that made the decision pretty straight forward. I've ordered from him before and everything was great.

When all is said and done, the price will be about the same I think. GMG doesn't have any online ordering, and no one returned my email asking about it.

Got it. Thanks. I just thought you have some data to influence your decision (like, Cargraphic wing generated xxx more lbs of downforce compared to OEM RS wing, etc.)

Yeah, can't go wrong w/ OEM, Cargraphics, and Manthey, I'd imagine!!

Please post pics once you get it!!

Water under the bridge at this point, but it's too bad you didn't get the car direct from me to begin with. It already had a lot of the goodies you wanted... Tech rollbar, GT3 seats, and the RS wing.

The factory wing was truley a piece of art...

I don’t think there is a whole lot of data out there specifically regarding down force info on the OEM, Manthey, and Cargraphic wings. The OEM only, yes. Unless the gurus around here poo-poo one or the other, I feel pretty good about my choice.

Let’s be realistic. I don’t have the skill set yet to exploit the OEM RS wing down force but a quality replica piece I would wager improves the performance of the car and it looks better to me.

I’d prefer new, but new OEM just doesn’t make sense for my needs.

Yeah, thanks for the note James.

Yep, I agree Max; timing is everything. I had the seats and r/b from the C4S, but yours was already put together nicely.

I cant imagine that any of the AM guys perhaps with the exception of Manthey and Cargraphics have the resources, expertise, or motivation to design and either model or directly wind tunnel test these components for their aerodynamic characteristics. Although having said that 3D aerodynamic modelling and CAD s/w are relatively cheap and accessible.

My guess/hope is that they simply use the OEM wing dimensions as a template and replicate it where costs permit.
