The car is much more user friendly without the front spiltter for normal driving. For street driving it is not needed and will make your life much easier pulling into driveways and other enterences. For the track it is easy to put on and the thumb screws are less the 50 cents each.

I have over 100000 miles on six 6 gt3 ans SF roads are one of worst in USA. The smart cookies keep the lip on. When u scrape it u know to slow down. Without lip u think u r ok. But when u do scarpe and u
Will, u lose paint on bottom of bumper. It's a lot cheaper to replace the lip than rrpaint underside of bumper.
Also, learn how to scrape. I scrape every time I enter/exit garage or trailer but my lip looks as good as new.
On RS when I back into garage the lip loosens a bit. I developed a reflex kick to fix that before I enter the house.
Furthermore, if ur car is sitting at right ht, u should scrape brake duct all the time. Those cost more money. Do u take them off too?
Somebtimes I curb my wheels parallel parking. I plan to remove my wheels.
Don't worry. Just drive it. I rarely slow down for speedbumps and I drive on to sidewalk or planter making u turns. Try it. It's fun.
