Ok, now that's a good non-automotive story on how you got your nickname. I use to bomb around campus on my pink road bike (Diamondback Master TG) or a big hit comp.

Your daughter is going to be the luckiest girl when she starts............TRACKING with dad. Stripped 6 GT3 or 7.2 RS? The choices....

I may head up with a friend next weekend (sat). Hopefully we'll run into each other! I'll PM when I confirm my trip.

Okay everyone, I pulled the trigger. I'm picking up the car on Thursday. It's a clean, 1 owner car with no stories and a complete service history, no paint work, etc. The only two issues are one wheel with a little rash and a wear spot on drivers bolster seat. Only option on the car was deviated yellow stitching on the seats. Original MSRP was $196k.

I got this deal because I dealer I've bought a few cars from took it in on trade. They were going to wholesale it, but thought they'd give me a call first to see if I wanted to give them a couple of grand more than their high offer. I was out of the door, with CPO, for about $70k. I'm going to take a hit on the Cayman as it's got to go now, but god damn I'm a happy man tonight. This is one of my dream cars.

Too good to be true. Investigate. Is this a full size car or a model you have to assemble? Or is it missing the engine?

F#CK ME!!! I paid just a little less than that for my Turbo just a few months ago.

I find it hard to believe that a GT2 with CPO is 65K. Heck, there were other Turbos I was looked at that were 65K!

That is an INSANE deal. I would've paid at least that wholesale for the car.....congratulations.

PM me the info on your Cayman S please, if it's a 6spd.....we are looking for good ones.

Thanks everyone, I'm still in shock myself. I've been on the phone four times today with the service manager at the dealership (they serviced the car) - making sure everything checks out (which it does) and getting all of the details as they know the car very well. It passed the CPO inspection no problem. Has a complete service history, and I'm having them do the annual before I pick it up tomorrow. The guy traded it on a new Turbo S Cab.

Dont want to worry you but wouldnt it be better if you checked the car not where he serviced it for all this time?
I dont why but usually when something is too good to be true most of the times it aint.
Then again if everything is ok this is the deal of the century regarding gt cars.
One similar deal was outside a casino but it doesnt count.

We metered the paint while I was there last night and went through all of the records and took a peak at the undercarriage. With that, since it will be under warranty, I'll have my local shop (Poudre Sports Car in Ft. Collins) go over the car mechanically with a fine tooth comb to determine if there is anything that needs addressing.
