Default FYI - Just did PPI on a 2005 in Chicago...

I viewed a 2005 today for a gent in Colorado and I thought I would pass it on to the list.

Good colors. Nice looking from the curb. Nice options. Had manuals & keys.
15973 Range 1 - Zero Range 2
Car has 3M clear bra applied, oddly cut to fit fender curves. The cut was not super attractive.
3M Mirror pieces were found to be pealing.
As most GT3’s are - the rocker panel behind the front wheels and the quarter panel behind the rear wheels are rock chipped.
Front plastic spoiler lip had just been folded over on a curbing. That part is easily replaced anyhow. The lip just needed detail to make it look new.
PCA decal in side window / showing some enthusiasm from previous owner.
When engine was 1st started up cold it sounded very good. No ill noises.
This car has what looks to be brand new fresh brake pads.
The car has a K&N filtercharger in place of the stock paper material filter.
The car has duct tape over the positive battery cable as per drivers ed rules.
The 1st aid kit was missing from front trunk area.
The brake fluid had been converted to ATE Blue fluid assuming for track use.
There was paint overspray found at the base of the A-pillar on both sides.
The door jambs had an oddity to the paint finish and perhaps signs of spray.
The rocker panel on the drivers side shows signs of dismantling & attempted reattachment.
The rear wing blade adjustment covers were missing.
The rear bumperettes showed signs of paint work.
It was a good paint repair - only the overspray on the A-pillars gave it away.
The car ran & drove well. The steering wheel was off about 5 degrees to one side - but the car drove straight.
Acceleration was good. Transmission felt good. Clutch pedal was correctly stiff. The rear differential was also responding as designed.

Asking price was $59.900.

The gent that worked with my potential buyer was fantastic. Stephen was knowledgeable, and courteous. Beautiful place too.
