Front Strut Rotation

Front Strut Rotation
I did some searching and came up with these 2 threads...
...and am encouraged to read the following from NJ-GT:
Has anyone done this recently? Any other tips or tricks?
Thanks

I did it without removing the struts.
1) remove the upper nut on the front struts
2) lift the front
3) disconnect the front sway bar from the end links.
At this point you can remove the (3) 13mm nuts that attach the camber plates against the body, remove the camber and perform the studs remove/reinstall. I didn't have a press, so I used a plastic hammer and a piece of wood, knocking the camber plate from the back, with the stud resting on the piece of wood.

I did change the oem mount to TRG with above method on my 4s, since it needs to remove the drive shaft. Remove the front strut in C2 or Gt3 takes 15 min. I guess it will be easier to punch out the bolts with the struct out.

Scott, you're heading down the 'unstreetable' path. Eating up inside edges and the car darting all over the place... but heck, it's a GT3! Pretty soon you'll be sick of the floating and the bobbing, and then it'll be time to change dampers/springs.
FWIW, I was able to get -2.6 camber up front with shims and no strut rotation, and the caster was maintained at 8.1-8.3.
If you rotate, make sure you verify the caster... each car's a little different.
Party on.
