Default Price Check - RS Wing and Moton Club Sport 2-Way

Selling a couple of items from my GT3 and looking for advice on pricing.

First item is an RS carbon wing. Great condition. One or two minor chips on front edge, but otherwise perfect.

Second item is a Moton Club Sport 2-Way with quick disconnects, monoball mounts, and associated springs. I don't recall the spring rate off the top of my head, which may make this price check impossible, and if so, I'll get the details and ask again. If you still think you can recommend pricing, I'd like to hear your thoughts. I'll obviously get the spring rates before posting in the classifieds and on this forum. Suspension has approx. 3 years and 17,000 miles on it.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Jim

I would assume the wing (if genuine Porsche) and in good condition, then it is easily 2-3K depending on condition. They are not in stock anymore and the price has gone through the roof though PCNA.

Yeah, the price has gone up a lot for sure.. that's why I am not even thinking about the OEM RS wing.. if I were to buy a wing, it'd be Manthey RS wing.. I think that one is still reasonably priced.. (not really, but not crazy.. !) ha!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yes, the wing is OEM and I still have a little research to do on the Motons. Thanks to those who PM'd. I should have pricing set this weekend.

oem RS wing at Suncoast is $6995 right now. No, sales won't be good at that price.
I've seen folks ask $2.2-$2.5k for a used one before this insane price increase.

Manthey is $2800 new through GMG right now (plus shipping from Europe).

Probably good for the Moton buyer to consider having them rebuilt before installation considering the high cost of install + corner balance + alignment. Good for both buyer and seller to know that cost. I know I'd be pissed at myself if I just bolted in used Motons and then chased a strange handling problem for a year before finding out a seal was weak in one corner.

Cheers,

With Euro now weaker, they need to drop the $2,800 price tag.. I know, I know.. wishful thinking.. !!

If they've quoted $2800 - they've already dropped it from $3500 which they quoted me in Jan/Feb this year.

It has been $2,800 on the website forever... I think the $3,500 is probably including the shipping and custom fee from Germany??

I just got a new RS carbon fiber wing and tracked it last monday. Car was super planted and now for the big test, Road America this weekend. I'll get back with pictures and improved laptimes. I got it from IMGt3. The quality is flawless and it is full carbon and lighter than oem. Definatly worth looking into. The install took me about 45 seconds.

IIRC, when I weighed mine on install is was 4# for the CF-RS versus 7# for the stock blade.

Put the 8 degree shims on that puppy and the rear sticks like glue on high speed sweepers and transitions.
