Price Check - RS Wing and Moton Club Sport 2-Way

Yes, I only had to open the box and and put on the carbon fiber end caps.(4 allen stainless steel screws)
The mounting aluminum that plugs into the stock uprights came allready installed. I should do a video of how easy it is. You have to push the button inside just like stock. I used the allen wrench to push the button because my finger are large and powerful. (my fingers cannot reach the button) If I practice I think I can improve on my install time. I'll get it under 30 seconds.

oem GT3 RS and Manthey come already attached from manufacturers. That's what you want.
A guy sitting in his garage with wood screws or a cheapo rivet gun attaching a mounting plate to some junk aftermarket wing doesn't inspire confidence. I wouldn't want to drive that car or be behind him on the track when the wing flies off.
Cheers,

oem RS wing at Suncoast is $6995 right now. No, sales won't be good at that price.
I've seen folks ask $2.2-$2.5k for a used one before this insane price increase.
Manthey is $2800 new through GMG right now (plus shipping from Europe).
Probably good for the Moton buyer to consider having them rebuilt before installation considering the high cost of install + corner balance + alignment. Good for both buyer and seller to know that cost. I know I'd be pissed at myself if I just bolted in used Motons and then chased a strange handling problem for a year before finding out a seal was weak in one corner.
Cheers,

I agree w/ you, Allan..
But it sounds like the IMGT3 wing does come w/ the mounting plates installed..
Anyway, I'm not in the market for a RS wing (yet? ha!) but always good to see more products available for the car.. sounds like IMGT3 is a new alternative..

I talked to Lex Carson and he said that Moton recommends a "service" every three years, which is more than a revalve. He indicated the cost was about $750 for the set. I agree that this needs to be factored into the cost.

Pricing...
Moton Club Sport 2-Way with Quick Disconnect is priced at $3,500, with shipping paid by the buyer.
RS Wing (with shims) is priced at $2,500, with shipping paid by the buyer.
I've had several PM's on these items, and will give them priority if offers come in at relatively the same time, however, I won't wait long if there's another offer on the table (wouldn't seem fair to that buyer).
Pricing is firm, as I think these are solid market prices.
Thanks for your insight and feedback.

I always get confused tying to convert the numbers stamped on springs. I understand one is the length in mm, and the other lbs. I believe the length is the first number so the fronts springs (100-110) would be 100/25mm = 4-inch springs. The multiplier to convert to lbs. is 5.7 IIRC so the 100-110 would be 4-inch, 627lb. springs. The rears (150-160) would then be 6-inch, 912 lb. springs. OK so far?
Now here's my question... do you then add the strength of the helper spring to that equation in whole, as a percentage, or how?. If in whole, does the 627lb. front spring combined with the 257 lb.helper then become 884 lbs. of front springs, and the rears 912 + 343 become 1,255 lbs. of rear spring?
This has long been a confusion for me and I assume others too. Any knowledge?
