RMS fixable?

RMS fixable?
Excuse my ignorance as I have been away for a while. I traded my car in 06 but the 6GT3 bug never left me, and in fact I really need to get another one. I had RMS issues before and it really bugged me as I can't stand cars that I cannot 100% rely on. Well, I am wondering if the 2010 models have a cured seal that is compatible with the older 996 GT3 models. If I knew the seal problem is fixable once and for all, I will not be able to stop myself coming back to a 6GT3.
I had an 07RS after the 6GT3 but in all honesty aside from the looks and comfortable ride. the 6 left a greater impression on me. More exciting and raw to drive IMO.

7 had more RMS issues than 6 gt3.
RMS is not a big problem.
it's an easy fix and not much $

In some cases if the seal replaced the tech will put the right seal in backwards. The seal looks like it fits in the other way round and this is the wrong way.
Then the new seal leaks.
One solution is to use the RMS from another engine. Maybe the M96 engine's RMS fits? This seal works but is not low friction.
Sincerely,
Macster.

I know, I know. It's just a low dollar seal, but I get sea-sick thinking about whipping the motor in and out each time, to fix a design problem that should have been right in the first place. I hate pools of oil and I hate even more when I get paranoid and look for them every time I back the car our of the garage.
I read about Turbo seals fixing the problem before (and then causing some other problem?) but wonder if Porsche made a new type seal for the 007.2 cars that could be retro-fit?
Not kidding myself here though. It's been 4 years since the 6 left and I miss it on a regular basis. I thought about Exige, S2000, even an old E30 M3 but all roads lead back to the 6. I knew I shouldn't have sold it, but at the time I thought the RS would be even more; which for me, it wasn't.
