I just spoke to christian@carlsen, my alignment was pretty far off. And ride height too. I had -1.7/-1.6 camber front, -1.8/-2.0 camber rear, 118/123 ride height front, and 125/126 ride height rear.

The plan is to go with about -2.5 camber front (maybe he won't get it that much, but he does need shims) and -2.3 camber rear. Zero toe in the front and 2mm toe in at the back. Ride height is being dropped to 102mm front and 115mm rear, to get a 10mm rake.

Oil change done. Brake fluid flush done. Sway on soft. Wing at stock. No lip spoiler. Car will be aligned tomorrow. I'm ready...

I 'believe' I have an extra cup (motorsport) front spoiler -- or it might be stock spoiler. i'm certain i have one or the other and that it's painted silver.

PM me if interested. Parts located in storage in san bruno (94066).

@mooty: Maybe... what wheels? I need to unload my Audi track wheels first though. It's getting tight in my garage.

i always buy mooty parts sight unseen... maybe because they are always mint, or maybe it's because i know where he lives

number54: pm'd you back. i'll be able to confirm later this afternoon if it's a cup or oem spoiler (i don't have hardware). drop me a PM with your cell.

hey mike: getting more comfortable with it... so far this yr i've gotten a few track days under the belt at LS and 1@Thunder. Definitely loving the challenge and nuances of this car. i'll need to get a ride in your car so you can really show me what this thing can do... when will you be at the track next? -patrick

upcoming events i'm signed up for:
4/30 - ncrc - TH
5/18 - gglc - TH

Yo Patrick- great to here both u and your brother are running 6's- best car to learn on. As far as trackdays go I'm going this weekend at thill with Nasa for both days(PRC is running- great race to watch). Can't make it to NCRC since I work fri now : ( but 5/18 definitely works for me(got tues off). Mooty is going as well so should be a fun filled day with 6gt3's. I take it your brother is going too(heard he did well at ls)? Never ran with gglc- good outfit? Mike

yeah i have a feeling i'll be sticking with this car for a while... so much to learn and car is so capable.

yeah sign up soon for the gglc event. recently there events hv been filling up fast. lotus club put on good loosely-organzied event... i've been to several of them over the yrs -- small groups, tons of track time - 3 run groups, but they allow you to run up and down grps, good price ($145 member/$165 non), open pass -adv grp, etc... you will definitely enjoy it. we need more pcars out there to attend these.

anyway, have fun at this w/e's nasa event!

^ three groups? they used to have "the fast group" and the "not so fast group".. that's the name they used.
