Wished bridgestone rcomps came in 6Gt3 sizes. Always like to experiment with tires. Mike

These suckers squeal like a stuck pig. Great when you want to know when they lose grip (which is all the time). Even braking at 100mph they chirp a lot. Braking in a turn the inside tire chirps as it locks up momentarily. Predictable when you push it too hard and they let go. That guy on Tire Rack that said they have awesome grip hasn't tried nice R-comps before.

Pressures used were 36f/39r hot. Anyhow, the dry performance was decent for a street tire and the outside shoulder tread cap design looks like it'll stand up to a lot of abuse. So far, so good. That tread design alone makes them worth way more to me than PS2.

Cheers,
Well, that's not too bad a review considering they're street tires. I'm actually not that unhappy that they squeal since that'll be a bit more feedback on my first track day

They'll be great for your first track day. The Yoko AD08 might become my regular street tire from now on.

Have a great time out there!

Allan,

I think you'll find the dry grip will improve in a big way as the tire wears. They've got a huge tread block with lots of squirm at the beginning.
