Default harness attachment point

Sorry tried search to no avail even though I know its out there.
What is the correct mounting point for the lap belts? Is it the bolt where the factory seat belt goes to the outside (same place das bar mount is) or is it on the seat?
On the inside is it at the same location on the seat as the factory seat belt?

any options for quick release for removal and street driving?

Thanks

Ps Schroth 6 point hans harness

Use R-9001 & R-9003: http://www.bkauto.com/porsche/harnes...re_porsche.php

Use the same bolted mounts as the factory belts.

Even though I have the clip in lap belts with BK mount inboard and roll bar mount outboard.....I never remove them for street use. I simply lay the lap belts over the side of the seat and use the 3-pt belt. No issues.

With my luck if I removed them like I originally planned, I'd forget to bring them with me to the track and I'l be SOL.

Cheers,

Still not sure of outboard location. Factory bolts back on the bolt hole at roll bar that mounts to chassis not seat. I have an eye bolt there. What would go onto the belt end straps to attach to these points.
Thanks

There is more than one way of doing it, for sure. I'm using eyebolts myself in lieu of the BK mounts for the outboard lap belts. The BK mounts with the GMG roll bar bring the lapbelts too close to the seat opening and the metal belt adjustment bracket bottoms out.

Here's a pic- the lapbelts are bolted to the sear via eye bolts. The seat buckle(receiver) are together. I removed the metal block spacer for both sides that came with the car. Ideally better to bolt to chassis but u have to drill holes with backing plates. Here are the pics. Mike

Like Allan for street driving I can still use the 3 point belt wo removing the receptacle but eyebolt on buckle side is so close to tunnel removing belt clip of harness aint easy but doable- I just put it aside til when trackdays comes. Mike ps- find another buckle when u do use the harness or else it'll gong like crazy. audi/vw buckles will work as well. Mike

I switched from 3 inch to the Hans compatible belts where the lapbelts are 2 inch as well. What a pita to remove tunnel side lap belt. Mike

Also my seats are euro fixed back seats and if yours are the same it's really an easy bolt on affair. Mike
