Damn Marilynn, I thought you sold your car some time ago when you moved over to the spec box! Good luck with the sale

Hey there - how are you? I did buy a Spec Boxster. I put the GT3 up for sale a while back but only half-heartedly. It's killing me to let it go but it's time. She's a garage queen at the moment and she needs to go to a good home where she'll be driven and enjoyed.

Doing great. My spec box is such a hoot to drive. I didn't realize I could have as much fun as I did in the GT3 until I drove a properly setup spec box! I might be running VIR this week as a test day.

Did you end up sticking with the one you got after getting the cage completely redone or did you get a different one?

Hope all is well!

Sounds like you're having a great time - that's what it's all about. I have that same car. Have done a bunch of work to it and will run it this season. They are a hoot, aren't they! I hope we get to run together sometime.

Definitely going to find some time to trailer it out to your next of the woods one of these days.

In case you haven't seen it, Brad shut down his website (boxsterspec.com) so Chris Amond stepped up and set up another "spbox" website for us to hang at http://www.texasspec.com/

You'll love our tracks. Please let me know when you're coming down.

I knew about boxsterspec.com shutting down. It redirects to the NASA forum now. I don't know the story behind it though. I'm "Marilynn" on texasspec.

I believe spec boxster is now sanctioned by NASA and national director is Bob Bodine. It was on the last issue of "Grassroots Motorsports" mag. Mike

From what I heard, Bill sold the rights to NASA. Maybe they brought him on as the person to keep it going?

Hopefully NASA doesn't screw it up and leaves it AS IS and makes any change VERY SLOW.

NASA is an acronym for " Need Another Seven Automobiles". Every year 1st season debut at SP at least 7 cars eat it. Mike

SPBOX is a Porsche Club of America club racing class. Info, rules, etc. can be found on the PCA website.
