Three Wheelin'
Haha.. most definitely not kept outside. In fact, hasn't seen much besides the inside of my garage lately.

Here's one of the last pics I have of the car. Took it after I washed it following a DE. I didn't realize how well set up that car's suspension was until I drove my new one. Mine's pretty good, that car was incredible. Sometimes I wish I had never driven it b/c now I know there's going to have to be some Motons and a few other goodies down the road.

Since there's a lot of Moton talk and I've never even had a ride in a Moton-equipped car...
Take a stock 6gt3 with only solid rear toe links. Then add Motons and any other suspension upgrades. What's the lap time difference (pick your track)?
Thanks.

LS, SP, TH 2 second tops, but usually 1 sec if that much.

The feel and confidence you get out of a car on Motons is worth more than the lap time increase in my opinion.
Back on topic of the Grey car...still makes me sad. I tried to sell my 996 to pick it up when Jerry was selling it...then missed out when Todd was selling it because of other life issues. I really really wanted to own that car!

My local track is fairly short and I can run in the 1:16's there with Hoosier R6. When talking to the owner of a local racing team (who ran in the past few Rolex 24hr races), he said Motons wouldn't do much for my lap times, but they'll fix a couple problem areas where I need to back off a bit due to how my car acts as it pitches around on my worn out shocks. Also, it rains in my area. Having adjustable shocks vs fixed will allow me to soften them up when the track is wet.

I didn't realize that RIV would accept a US manufacturer recall letter, but that sounds like it would be easier to come by. Porsche, BMW and others are asking outrageous prices for the letter here.
I've been poking around autotrader.com, so I'm happy I'm not one of the few. One last question ... what is PPI stand for (pre-purchase inspection?) and what is a general price range I could expect for the dealer inspection?
Thanks in advance.
