Default Rec street alignment settings? So, I've been doing some searching

looking for peoples rec street setting for alignment.

Many are old posts.

Any recs for what people have recently used? Cambe, toe, sway bar settings?

Heading to alignment shop in a few hours and was just curious what people are running on the street.

Thanks.

Just use factory settings then. Shop should have them.

Cheers,

God it's been a long time since I had street settings. Question is street settings set up for safety bubble understeer? I remember taking out to the track with street settings and ps2's- it understeered alot- car kept going wider and wider. 6 spins over that weekend went between street/track settings felt much better and now present -3.2 camber front -3.0 rear toe in rear and 0 toe front car feels awesome at the track(point and shoot). Jason,

Unless you intend to drive on a race track, the factory settings are fine as others have said. One thing to note, the toe adjustment in the rear is notoriously fragile which is why almost everyone has added rear toe links from TRG or similar.
Without them one good bump in the road and your alignment is shot. The wrong toe out back will make the car twitchy as hell.

Thanks all.

I will likely track the car a few times so went with a set-up that will hopefully work fine for both:

-2.6 in the front with 1mm toe out per side

-2.3 in the rear with 2mm toe in per side

Feels great.

The toe was waaaaay off in the rear so it was a bit "interesting" to drive before the alignment. Now that it's set, it feels nice.

More seat time will tell.

I appreciate the input.

I was going to use just street settings but didn't want to have to have it re-aligned just for the track.

Jason, who did your alignment and what was your general impression of their competency?
Thanks,
Mike

Chicago Performance and Tuning (CPT) did it. They are cometent for sure. Just make sure they have the proper shims for the front because this delayed things a bit when I was there. They can give you any settings you want and I would have NO concern having them work on any car of mine.

Yeah, didn't realize this was such an issue and didn't have time to get them before my appt. Next time I will install those too.

As you probably read it is hard to compromise on settings between street and track. If you go hard track settings tires wear out fast on the street because you go straight most of the time and your tires are negative cambered like a kid walking on the inside edges of their feet.
