Default Spares Kit

Guys my car has been pretty much dead reliable so far but it has less than 10,000 miles on it. Mostly track though.

I was going to put together a spares kit and I know that there have been issues with coolant hoses popping. My mechanic suggested I use water and water wetter but I wanted to carry the spare coolant hoses and related parts that are prone to failure. Should I just replace them as a precautionary measure as well as carry a spare set?

Is this the only hose & O-Ring? 1 or 2?

996 106 801 03 O-Ring

What other parts do you guys carry?

I almost always carry a spare set of pads and rotors but not much else.

Carry an extra shiftlink(if still stock- evolution motorsports have metal aftermarket ones) that connects cable to shiftlink-if it(plastic threads) strip your day is over. It happened to me. I marked the cable with a sharpie(rt side) just in case it happens. Just suppose the hose you're concerned with blows- wouldn't alot of coolant spill off? I imagine u probably check after each session- mite do that as well. Mike

Part #?

Anyone have the part numbers for the hoses that pop off?

I've done a search but it isn't conclusive.

I don't know.

I do know I'm getting my alternator rebuilt soon. It hasn't died yet but I did receive a bunch of "Generator Failure" messages last summer/fall. I know a few other guys who have had theirs fail.

Other than that I'd like to have the hoses etc. if/when they fail so I can hopefully get back on track quickly. I'd just like to know what the part numbers are and if both sides are the same or different.

As for the shift link, if it's a common failure I'll throw one in my tool box although I haven't heard of many failures.

Anything else?

Sorry for the delay Chris. Haven't picked up my car yet. My mechanic texted me the PN. Always thought pn was all numbers but this is from off the spare one I have in the car.
PN- pa66-pa6-gf60- shiftlink. I popped mine during an ncrc race on a rolling start 2-3 upshift at thill but I really hamfisted it wo a pause- wanted a great start : ) to t1. Mike

Chris: I have one of these, brand new, never used.

I've decided to go to all cup parts which are metal and not plastic so I won't need it.

Wanna work out a trade of some kind for a Prodigy brake controller? PM me.

Chris I did some searching around and it looks like there are some additional hoses in the cooling system beyond the hose part number you listed. I wonder if we should have one of every hose or if there are one or two that are the ones that usually fail?
