Just wondering what you're doing with the car? You initially asked about times in such a car at Road America, then started listing good track stuff for sale (Fikse wheels, cage, seats, etc). I saw you listed the car for sale a day or two ago at $65k and now don't see the ad and clearly the cage is now removed.

Post purchase anxiety?

I saw the car this summer at our local PCA Club Race. It was very nice. Hope you are just putting in a fully welded cage, better seats, and run the heck out of it!

I'm working on a project that evolves my already heavily modified 996 GT3 into something purposeful. Think less than 2500lbs with over 500hp running 997 RSR spec Michelin slicks. More to come in a couple of months... Looking at various posts from SpeedGT3 I assumed he was up to something interested so sent a PM to compare notes. However I could not tempt him to revealing what was happening with the car. I can't wait for "stay tuned"...

Your project sounds really interesting, Mark! I hope you post photos of your progress! I agree that SpeedGT3's posts would indicate something similar with just the short-lived ad listing the car for sale being incongruous.
