Red face New 6GT3 Owner...

You guys asked for it.... I couldn't help/resist... And of course I'm keeping it bone stock

Only driven it from the dealer to work and back home so far but some very good local people/friends have owned the car before and it's a great example. I know I'm going to have fun

I predict that it will be the first 4.0L 6GT3 in the states!

Looking forward to see what you guys do with it!!

Maybe develop some exhaust options for it, so the 6GT3 owners will have a good option.. (similar to the now famous center muffler delete for the 7GT3!)

And yes, looking forward to the 3.9L conversion on it!!

Just looking how the car sits, this one looks like it has been in Mooty's hands. Great find and good luck keeping it stock....... The wing and the wheels already got you screwed. Oh well, here goes the 3.9!!

Thanks man and we'll have some fun with this... If I could I'd have a 1999 Euro GT3 as well. I think I need to get "branded":P

ROFL that's right I actually took that picture when she was being detailed (shock horror!) so I promise James/I weren't messing in the back with the engine yet

Can you imagine the amount the state has made from the sales tax of that car already

I think once we're doing with it we should make the circle complete and then have you buy her back. Then JWGT2 and maybe even Adam as well?

Okay Alex. I will hold off on this product purchase:

And I will wait to see what you conger up. I have not had the pleasure of working with your staff on an order yet (I have heard good things though) but perhaps I will once you & your team work the magic.

i think the bore/stroke on 6gt3 is similar if not identical to 7gt3. so it won't be hard for sharkwerks to get it to 3.9....

since it WAS my bitch. i need to test drive her as soon as it's done.

I would like to see an exhaust for the 996 GT3 that takes off weight, sound nice, and most important adds torque and HP with proof. Then make it have quick change canisters or what ever is needed to pass sound at those "special" tracks. Also would need quick change for passing smog.

If you are willing to change to pass smog, maybe a cat bypass pipe... !

I really like that designtek unit. I'd considered a center exit system with a Cup rear bumper, but I don't like how the Cup skin exposes more of the muffler(s). It has an arch to it and doesn't hang as low as the street bumper near the center. Does anyone else make a 996 bumper for a center exit exhaust?
