I'm on the list for one but if the economy stays the way it is I don't know if i can afford it. ![banghead](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/banghead.gif)
Might as well keep mine as a track car...We've been through a lot.

depend on how you want to use it.
if you want a garage queen and will keep it for 15 years. the RS will be better. it is an RS. it really doesnt matter if it's better or different. the RS moniker will make it a "better" car in 15 yeats.
if you want to drive it and flog on track. i would take .2GT3 for sure. it is a better car technically.
but why dont you just get 997.2 RS and be done with it![cherrsagai](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/drink.gif)

I don't think of the MkI 997GT3RS in the same light as the '73, 993RS, 964RS(bonkers) or 996GT3RS, it's just not hardcore enough for me; but if I were going to get a MkI 997, that would be my only choice. From a hardcore driver's perspective, the MkII GT3 has basically made the MkI GT3/RS obsolete if both have similar price point -- 20k less then it becomes a tough choice.
