Default Mont Tremblant / Calabogie 7/6-9, 7/10

Any GT3'ers @ Mont Tremblant this week for NER?

If so, I'm at the far end of the paddock near turn 14. Stop by and say hello.

How about Calabogie?

Wasn't even aware NER was at LCMT this week. Have fun and enjoy 1-2 and 7.

We were still on the track on Sunday when all the NER crowd started to arrive. Parking lot was filling quickly, looked like a well attended event. Hope you catch a break with the weather.

Hey Mike. We got to the paddock a bit early and saw you running out there. You were looking fast!

Good deal Chris. Maybe you can show me around the track? Maybe some lead follow?

Please stop by and say hello if you see me.

1-2 and oh boy. That's a pucker turn for sure. That section of elevation change reminds me of Road Atlanta.

I'm not going fast enough to have turn 7 scare me.

The weather was a little questionable yesterday. It rained once during my last session. I stayed out, no way I'm driving 16+ hours to sit in the paddock.

Sitting in the condo the weather isn't looking very promising. Boo. If it keeps on raining, I hope it won't rain too hard otherwise my car might go into "limp" mode.

From previous VIR events I don't recall you having a trailer....hope you bought/borrowed one for this trip. Put some video up when you get a chance. Would love to see Mt. Tremblant up close.

It wasn't too bad in Montreal today, hope it was the same in Tremblant. If you have any questions about the line or anything track related may I suggest you talk to Dave Karl ( blue 993 track car with a N.H. plate TIKKA) . he has a ton of time at Tremblant . Great driver and a super communicator, loves to talk anything track.
One final note ---- RESPECT TURN 7---

Long time no see. Guess you are enjoying the GT3, did you sell the RX7?

Hey Rob, I was there yesterday and was able to show a few Rennlisters the way around the track. I went looking for you after lunch but could not find you in the west end of the paddock. Had students in subsequent run groups until the rain shut things down. Could only be there on Monday and happy to help out my pals from NER. I hope Bruce got his car fixed!

Best,

If you're there Thursday there will be loads of track time with lots of room on track. If it's anything like last year 20-30 cars will be what I expect to see.

No problemo on lead follow/orientation. Lot's of turns. Better to think of the turns as sequences/groupings.

Watch Bruce's video repeatedly (black GT3) on the Calabogie Motorsports website.

Ramon, I have a good friend who lets me borrow his trailex. It's great to have good friends.
