Default GPS Laptimer

I am new to the forum--so greetings everyone!

I ordered the Starlane Stealth GPS 2 laptimer for my 1999 GT3 Mk1.

Does anyone have recommendations for a good place to install this in the car (and also the method) and also recommendations on connecting it to power?

Many thanks and all the best,

Brno

Most people are just sticking them on the windshield that I've seen.

Thank you for the feedback. I received the laptimer yesterday--it is small and light, so I can see that it will be easy to afix, maybe with a velcro strip on the CD storage case on the center console or on a hard foam cut to fit into the open compartment below the CD storage case.

Apparently it can work off the car battery or off one or two 9v batteries. I might have a cable installed to the battery and then I could just plug the timer in when needed (since I wonder how long it would run one one 9v battery).

Thanks for your reply.

I soldered on a cigarette lighter plug and a 9v battery plug and both work well.

I will put it to good use at the Ring next week.
