Does anyone have instructions on how to install a sidecar on a Honda CBR1000?

I'd like to take my boy along with my wife and we need an extra seat.

i wouldn't do it.
yes, if you are in a $20k accident, sure ins may just pay it. but if someone is hurt and you are in a $2,000,000 suit, i am not so sure your insurance will cover it. they will find anything they can to get off. my guess of course.

also, i dont know about 996, but the inbound GT3's rear seat tub do NOT have the same reinforcement as regular 997's. this info is in their internal product literature. so WHAT IF.... 996 was the same...

That's only on 997.2 GT3, not 997.1 GT3

997.1 GT3/RS and all 996 GT3s have double-skinned rear seat tub just like regular Porsches.

Default Yes!

Short Answer, Yes. Rear seats and belts are perfectly suited to a 996GT3.
Several threads here over the years, you should be able to search.

I know the GT2 has a TSB A-303 for Retrofitting Anchorage Bracket for Child Seat Tether to the rear shelf.

Anchor Bracket for Top Tether / Part #000 043 204 70 These were installed with 3 HIgh Strength pop rivets.

Thanks, I will. I just missed a set of rear seats for $75 on another forum.
