New Stereo Installed!
No new speakers required; amplifier is 283 KW
reduced weight of car: 45 lbs
stereo mfg: Fabspeed
Sound: awesome! Becker CDR-23 seems pretty useless
Caution: light right foot on volume control when in the vicinity of local gend'armes

I have the cargraphic catalogue here and they list :

exhaust - 7bhp
cats - 7bhp
exhaust + manifold + cats - 20bhp

Motorsport exhaust (tiny silencers) + cats + using OEM manifold - 15 bhp

exhaust + cats + filter + map - 23bhp
exhaust + cats + filter + map + manifold - 30 bhp

So from that maybe 7-10bhp from the map alone. Thing is, all the remaps I've seen offered promise more than that without changing exhaust etc! What do revo promise?

I hear you...
they can make it with cats easily...

the cats they ordered on my behalf are still there as I have asked them to hold on to them for me in case a need arises for the to be added later...

real world like 10whp at least that's what a GIAC flash gets.

Revo uk claim 10-15bhp and 10-20 lb/ft. So I guess they aren't over promising.

edit: Hmm or maybe they are. Just looked at evoms and they offer 8bhp/8lbft!

Do GIAC even do a 996 GT3 map as its not on their site?

GIAC does it for the 996. GMG uses them all the time. It's like 900$ for the flash and they claim 9 bhp.

It's all academic really.
