Default Setting onboard computer

Hi all,

Looking for some help. I have a 2000 GT3 Clubsport. Recently on the dash under the digital speedo there appeared what looked to be an average speed readout. This happened after the battery went dead. Previously there was nothing displayed there. Anyway, in the manual it says I should use the onboard computer stalk that looks to also double as the cruise control stalk on the left under the indicator stalk. However my car does not have this stalk, as Australian clubsports did not come with cruise.

Anyone know how to use the onboard computer on a Mk1 CS?

cruise stalk is on the right, the OBC stalk is on the left ... at least it is in the Colonies.

I used to have a 2001 996 with no computer stalk but the computer is built into every model. The dealer was able to assign that spot at the bottom of the display to the setting of my choice. It is not something you can do with the controls in the car.....

ok - doesn't sound like it is configurable then. I'll have to ask at the next service. Thanks very much for all the replies.
