Default New Garage and new GT3 bling

The wife and I have been buidling our dream house for the last year and a half. We are about 3-4 weeks from completion. I got some obligatory GT3 pictures in front of my new garage and a shot inside. There is still a lot of construction going on right now but this will be my new garage space. There will be a 2-post and a 4-post lift in here. The ceilings are 12ft high and the garage doors have the side mounted motors. The paneling on the wall is clear cedar we made at work. What do you think?

Very nice job! Having worked with my share of wood floors and wall installations, I appreciate the effort. Your car will look great inside. Looking forward to the finished job pics.

Beautiful garage, congratulations.
What are you planning on for floor treatment?

I haven't decided what I am going to do yet. So far my two options are either Racedeck tile flooring which I am a dealer for or etching the concrete with a stain color and creating a different finished look. Maybe you guys can help me decide.

Looks great and I am envious of the topography, not able to do that in my hood. I used Coronado commercial epoxy at my house and warehouse which is bullet-proof. That being said I prefer the look of stained concrete. Not sure if you considered it but a floor drain is rather functional for hosing down the car, dog or babies.

Cheers.

Very sweet indeed. If you do much work in the garage I wouldn't do much but seal it. Finished floors look nice but working garages are tough on them. Drains in the garage are illegal in Connecticut, at least my town. What I did was put a six foot drain outside each bay door in the driveway so I could raise the door an inch or so and let it run out.
That drain runs out to the side yard and is legal. Go figure. Nice walls Seth.

With such a nice 6GT3 (especially in wht), your garage is almost complete. In your area do you have anyone who can polish and seal the concrete? The process uses diamonds that take concrete surface to a 3000 grit finish then it is sealed with a crystaline sealer. In the end, the concrete shines like it is wet.

After the floor is done, which wall will the LCD TV go on so you can watch Speed Vision?
Your garage (and house) looks great, congrats.
