Default Shipping 996 Cup lip spoiler? & PMNA source in Canada?

Is lip spoiler folded over in a smaller box or packaged in a full length box?

I'm trying to figure out if I can get one sent by USPS.

Where are Canadians getting their PMNA parts?

Cheers!
David

I get my splitters from TRG, but I'm on the same coast as them and use UPS to WA state. They fold the splitters to fit in a smaller box and I clamp the creases flat for a few days so they are ready to use when I need them. You can probably bend them back by hand but I'm a woodworker with a million clamps around the shop....and I'm lazy.

Cheers,

I got my last supply from TRG when Austin was still there and they were not folded.

First splitter I had gotten from TRG was folded and had cracked in one of the bolt holes. Second one was sent in a long box unfolded.

Those pics were from this past July. I guess it depends on the shipper at TRG or if they have long boxes available? It would be nice if they weren't folded.

Got mine from TRG as well. The spare is in the garage.

Mine were kinda folded.

Ron Green might have them in Montreal.

You can also try Mike Kenny. He had one on hand and I bought him a replacement from TRG.

I pick mine up at PMNA but have seen how they ship them, it's in a huge long box. the shipping is crazy $$ unless you buy like 10

I would be pissed if mine was bent in half. I have ordered countless splitters (both OEM and Cup) and not once has it been shipped bent in half. Remember, YOU are the one paying for shipping so if you think there is the chance, tell them to not bend it in half.

There is no reason you should have to try and rescue the original shape of the splitter back.

+1. No bending please. Heck, if that was the case then a flattened box would be better.

I think the trick is to order enough of them so they have to find a big box, otherwise they just turn them into pretzels. We ordered a half dozen last time and must have a couple left upstairs.

Mike,

Let me know if you can spare one out of your "stash". ;-)

PM me if you prefer.

+2. I received one this way, one screw hole was cracked and the splitter never seemed to mate up correctly. Bad idea.
