Default 04 GT3 Wheel Fit Question?

Does anyone know if this offset on a set of wheels will fit on a 04 996 GT3?

44 for front

51 for rear

I think the front is right but the rear is off. will spacers help or am i delusional?

Thanks in advance!

Front:
10mm less clearance on the inside and extend 2mm more on the outside (no biggie)

Rear:
Here's where you might have a problem. Basically you take the SAME size width and move 12mm OUTWARDS which would stick out past the fender. Not a good thing under compression.

I'd have to say no go on those sizes (the rear sizes kill the deal).

I'd try them first, the rears may actually work. 11's with an offset of 51mm puts the outside of the rim roughly 1/2" further outboard than the stock 63mm offset.

I have 18x12 et 64 with 315/30's on the rear of mine. The outside edge calculates to be the same on mine as your 51mm 11's.

Why would you want to use an incorrect size? 12mm is huge for an offset that is already at the near limit. Now if you are running tons of neg camber and have the suspension that can compensate properly for compression that would keep the fender from hitting the tire, then you are good. My guess is you HAVE to run that offset on the 12" wheel so it clears the INSIDE.

He simply asked if they would fit. Yes, they most likely will. What determines "incorrect" size?
Lots of people are running 19's, which is "incorrect" also, but, they still do it.

What determines incorrect size? That which doesn't fit PROPERLY.

Pushing the factory offset OUTWARDS 12mm is not a PROPER fit. Further, the more you push that wheel out the more you alter the geometry of the suspension. Now you are placing higher loads on the suspension components and the bearings have to absorb that load. Here's an example of a wheel that "fits" but that isn't "proper" or "correct".

By that logic, 996WB with 18x11 et 45mm are improper fitment? The only difference it the wider fenders.

actually that's not the only difference but it's obvious there is no use trying to explain further

It's the only difference in the rear, in terms of bearings & loads caused by the wheels.
