To get RPM I connected to the DME pin # E6.
To get the brake pedal I connected to the 3rd brake light. The positive lead is black/brown.
To get TPS I connected to the DME pin # D13.
I am contemplating this same install. I haven't actually looked at the DME yet, but was wondering how to identify the right pins [E6 and D13]. An, um, where exactly is the DME?

One other question, how did the brake sensor work when you treated it as an analog?

Do you have any videos with the logged data? It would be great to see the product of this.

Cheers,

Rob sold his car so he may not be on the forum much, but you can go to Vimeo.com and type in "Rob GT3" to see the videos.

Good info on how to get to the DME from our friends at Sharkwerks: DME REMOVAL. Note that most of the work shown is for removing the Bose subwoofer. If you do not have Bose, access to the DME is really quick.

There are 5 cable bundles that plug into the DME, and I THINK that they are labeled A through E. I KNOW that all the wires are numbered on the plastic connector, but you will need a good light and a big magnifying glass to read them.

This setup can produce data like: Last Year's Pat Long Event. I am moving the system over to my new-to-me 7.1 GT3 now. Should have everything running in time for THIS year's Pat Long Event....
