depends on your wife.
if she is either a catty blond, girly-girl, or money lovin' bombshell..... then no.
if she is adventureous and has equal ability as any other person.... then yes..... (she may fall in love)
hey, in the 1960's it was done in worse..... so id say it would be very character building for her!
and the attention she would get wouldnt hurt 
she would forget all about the stiff clutch pedal and bumpy ride.

The question is not "is the GT3 wife friendly?".......the question should be "is the wife GT3 friendly?"............meaning buy the car first and ask for forgivness, if she is not on board to bad! Besides, she will like the looks she gets in the GT3.
