Why not let your wife drive one and decide for herself?
It's half hers. If it were me I wouldn't buy anything that I plan to share with my significant other without knowing that she is 100% satisfied with the purchase.

The only time we take another car is when the dog has to go with us.

My wife hates driving my 996tt because of the seating position, and heaviness of the clutch and shifter. She says it's a big fat beast.
Sooo, she bought herself a Cayman-S. She absolutely loves that car because it is so easy to drive. The clutch and shifting is feather light and it sits high enough that she isn't scraping the front all the time.

if she is a driver --- no problem. My wife will not even ride in mine. Seats, bar,LWFW.....
I used mine for 3 years most every day in Seattle's traffic. Not plush by any means but would rather take it than our SL.

No way. My wife would hate driving my GT3 on a weekly basis. She enjoys us taking it out on the weekends with me driving but that is it. Now her M3 is a different story. She loves that car and wishes she could drive it everyday.

Yep, Claire is happy as passenger or driver in mine. She regularly takes the GT3 across London to work - at least once a week. ..
..and we both had some track instruction so she'd feel more comfortable and in control on the road. See latest issue of Total 911 for a write up! (and no, she didn't beat my time!)

My 996 isn't exatly a GT3...but I do have aftermarket suspension with twice the stock spring rate of a GT3. My wife drives it more than I do on the street. Not a single issue or complaint. She likes it better with the aftermarket suspension then when I had just H&R Springs on the car.
