if your low profile jack has padding on it that is adequate...however, a jacking pad that locks into the jacking point adds additional security...

A very low profile jack is key and then some some soft material between wood disk or jacking pad.
I have used hockey pucks wutg no problem but I did see a puck explode under pressure of car weight at a repair shop.

LOL, where were you with that advice earlier this summer "damn, what's that clanking sound coming from the right front,.... hmmm, seems to be gone now" - I'm now a hockey puck convert.
