Love my Cargraphic mufflers. Two others local have heard them, and bought their own. Great sound, and the aforementioned weight savings, too. No dyno, but Cargraphic claims 5 hp gain.

Joe, if you sell that car (hope not) and want to sell the muff's, let me know.

Cheers,

You're about the 5th person in line. Many have heard them, but, I guess, would prefer to buy used rather than new. The only longer line is for my RS cf blade on the wing.

SP will meatball you too. you should see the crazy setups i've seen. it all depends if the club holding the event is paying for low dB or high dB.
Crap really?! Does that mean i have to put on the stock muffler for the NCRC Sept event???

Which event meatballed you at SP? Thanks for the heads up Carlos

That's the thing. Loud is cool (sort of), but I have no time or patience for spending 4 hours before and after an event to change mufflers. I prefer to wash, maybe wax, check brakes and tires, a nut here and there and its done. Considering what you get out of them, it is really amazing how little effort these cars take if you leave them stock.

I doubt it. The NCRC guys are pretty cool. Shoot Dave Mills an email and he'll let you know.

you have included headers.

also, even with header, they are bumping from 380hp to 410? they have to do something else. header alone wont do it, trust me.

sorry, i am blind. didn't see the "map" part.
sure, advance timing, add fuel, increase air, more exhaust out... there you have 30hp, but that is NOT "exhaust system" that most ppl are talking about.

nah, you are fine with those mufflers. they aren't as loud as the MBP
i wasn't meatballed at SP but others were. it all depends if it is a 92dB, 98dB, 102dB day. just make sure you only go to the 98 and 102 days

dave doesn't have a say in it if the crew at TH decide to turn on the sound meter. i talked to dave when i was meatballed and he just shook his head too.

technically, all cars at TH need to have mufflers. did you ever notice the sign just under the control tower?

Don't think I saw the sign. Good to know though.

I think TH is 103 or 104db, can't remember.

But if you want to run Laguna.....well, this is why I won't mess with the stock exhaust for little to no performance gain.

Right, but does that mean you could get that power with the map alone leaving the exaust stock? i.e. are they using the benefit of a map they could sell for 1000 USD to justify selling 15,000 USD of overpriced exhaust system?

What's the point of having more power if you can't HEAR it?

Whats the point in having more noise if it gets you thrown off track and deafens you on the motorway!
