Default How to keep floor mats in place?

Alright, every few minutes my floor mat rides up behind the clutch and on top of the gas pedal. The bottom of each mat has a circular "pad" but the carpet has nothing to attach it to (i'm thinking of maybe a velcro pad on the carpet is supposed to be there). Is this how the stock mats/carpet is supposed to be? Anyone know where to get the velcro pads that screw into the carpet so I can lock these bastards down??? Thanks.

goto dealer's servivce dept where the prep new car for sales. ask for velcro discs, those "self tap" and screw into the carpet. then velcro the mat to those.

dont paid for those discs. the service guys got lots of them.

You might also consider something like the Rennline track mat for the driver's side.
