Hey Colby,
I should've mentioned that I also autox my car and my alignment is a compromise thing. Especially when I run Kumho V710 (autox), Nitto NT01 (dry track) and Michelin PS2 (street/wet autox/wet track) all on the same alignment.
I really need two or three GT3s for each type of driving I do.

Get a full printout of your current alignment and make notes on how the car feels at your local track. Soon you'll be making changes and dialing in your car to suit your tires and driving style.
It might also help to get a more experienced driver to check out your car too. Those guys are worth their weight in gold.
Cheers,

Most of the instructors make sure we dont apex early with the exception of T7 and T8. With regard to the throttle i definitely have A LOT to learn but a really fast instructor was the one who told me to short shift into 3rd, floor is and let the car even itself out. Worked really well until my tire temps got all screwed up.
dave and i got an instructor who told us to early apex just about everywhere and plant the throttle, LOL.
DO NOT early apex T8, it's very $$$ to go off there.
soon, most of the time you should be in 4th gear.

Too kind thanks,
I planned on just taking friday and saturday slow, and then pick it up a bit for sunday (we will see). The crew will not be there they did not like the 35 cars on track.
My issues with that track will be T2, T5 and T6, I had PSM hit hard with the C4 at times at those turns so, I will need to build up to fine limits???

Watch for turn 1, the car develops too much speed on that straight, and it is too light. The RS wing should help but be careful, it took me by surprise the first time there.
I'm sending you used RS19 pads tomorrow via FedEx Express with Saturday Delivery. It is already too late to send them today. The front pads have 1/3 life left (not much) but better than running on the hats.

Mooty your joking on early apex on t8 rt? I always late apex hug inside left then full wot even so with the run off my rt rear tire just barely clips the end of runoff. I don't see early apexing t8 u will not have ne room. From t2-t6 I'm on 3rd all the time, 5th-4th at t1(have short r/p), 4th gear before t7 then downshift 3rd before t9 then 4th as go down t9 then 3rd before t10 then 4th at exit of esses then 3rd on t14. Funny story...visiting someone in the East Bay this week, fired up the GT3 to leave (only idling), old woman across the street runs out of her house and screams profanities at me, waving her arms frantically at me to get the f@#% out of her neighborhood. I started laughing & drove off.
Did she try and chase you in her Prius?

there's no way PCA-GGR will teach a driver the early line their first time out with the club. just keep late apexing. it's the safe "PCA" line. to get fast you need to start apexing EARLIER, not necessarily EARLY. just worry about being smooth, being consistent and learn to control your car.
