Default Dual Ram Air Scoops?

Does anyone make a set of dual ram air scoops (akin to that of the 997 GT3) for the 6 GT3?

A few folks, GMG amongst them. I believe their's is cf.
See http://www.gmgracing.com/porsche_aero.shtml Scroll down the page.

Just noticed you said "dual" scoops. In which case, never seen that.

I was looking for one a few months back, and don't recall seeing any of the dual scoop configuration. There are others on eBay, but all like the OE piece (like the GMG and FVD pieces). Some are cf, some are fiberglass, ready for paint.

Are the 6GT3 and 7GT3 intakes similar? Or is there a reason the 6GT3 is a single piece?

Colby,

I've been looking for months and never seen the "dual" version for 6GT3. The shape of the decklid is defferent, so 7gt3 scoops don't fit.

I bought the single version from a shop in Taiwan. Super light and finish is great. Fit is not great. It could be made to fit, if you don't mind drilling for the two small screws that it is designed to be attached with. But I did not want to drill and I was hopeful that double stick tape would be adequate. If the fit was perfect, then tape would be adequate, but the fit is off just enough that I gave up on it. No return on parts from Taiwan...spent $300 when I could/should have had something that worked for $700.

GMG's is $790, and is the least expensive of the quality cf units I found. FVD's is $345, and, I assume, is fiberglass, which will require another $200-300 for painting.

How was the fit? Tape or screws or both? And do you feel any difference?

Looks nice!

I forget where I read it, but they're supposed to be effective above 100 mph, 10-15 hp. The FVD site says it smooths out the airflow, and provides a ram air effect above 65 mph. Hell, if I spend $700 on the piece, I know I'd feel the difference.
