Default Clutch Fried - Best replacement? 996 GT3

Fried the clutch at the track today. I have the single-mass flywheel. What's the best replacement clutch? RS? Cup? stock?

If you drive on the street a bit, I would not recommend to go for the Cup clutch. It's easy to stall, if you're not focused.

I've done some thread searching and it seems like the best option is the Sachs Cup Car pressure plate?

is the cup clutch the 6 puck variety. You will hate it. It's like a on/off switch.

I actually like the idea of an on/off switch
I drove a cup car to move it around the paddock last week and it is truly AT the floor and IMMEDIATE full engagement within 1/2" of release. Great for the track!

I have the Cup car clutch and it was an on/off switch, stalled it 3 times in a row when I first got it. After bedding in it is acceptable and not as grabby but it still takes a little finese.

Stay all factory w/RS set up. While at it LWFW would be a must. I use as daily driver, no issues.

Dont cup car clutch(6 puck) make grating noises if u try to ease clutch in? I wouldn't drive it on the street since u need a little slipping of the clutch to get into gear. Mike Ps- I had a 4 puck clutch on race gti and it was definitely not drivable at all on the street.

If u tow your car to the track then that would be fine but if you drive to/fro to the track 4 or 6 puck will wear out faster then stock. Mike
