Thanks to all of you and your helpful suggestions. The car has now been sold to a member of this list. He has the means to rebuild it, so it will probably been seen again in the Pacific Northwest.

I will have some pictures up by next week hopefully. So far so good. We were able to pull the front end over, separate the inner and outer rails, repair everything and weld it back together. Just the same as replacing both front rails except with some extra hammer and dolly time, and a lot less money spent on parts.
