Hello out there,
as I am an owner of a comfi modell I am planing to install a rollbar.
I am wondering if there is a difference between the original Clubsport rollbar and the Porsche After Sales Tequipment rollbar. How would that be installed?
There are tons of 3rd partie rollbars out there - in the end it is just confusing for me...
However, does somebody has a detailed picture of his clubsport?
Also, is it possible to install the original clubsport bar in a comfi modell?
regards
Chris

There is a significant difference between the Teq rollcage and the CS cage. The CS cage provides significantly more rigidity, and will provide more safety in the event of a crash.

Understand,
but my question is: What will fit in my car?!
As the original CS bar is attached to special plates in the bottom and in the back I don't see a opportunity to put the bar in my car easily...
Did someone installed the original CS bar in his comfi-modell?
Regards

Hi Chris,
Both Adrien and I have installed the clubsport cages into our "comfort" editions. Yes, the T-quip uses the seat / seatbelt mounting points therefore require no internal mods. The clubsport does require proper plates welded to the floor as you would with a weld-in cage. We both had it done by a specialist Porsche repairer in the UK(NineMeister) who did a fabulous job properly finishing it off afterwards.
There is no question that the clubsport will do a far better job when compared to the T-quip. Consider the t-quip more a harness bar than a roll bar....
Enjoy.

Thanks a lot, that was the answer I needed...
Thought we have a lot of specialists in Germany as well I will contact someone around to get the CS installed.
Is the carniwal CS equal to/the same as the original one?
Regards
