does anybody have tried adjustable suspension that can set for a softer

I have heard that the very high-end systems from Moton, JRZ, Ohlins, etc. have simultaneously better ride quality and better handling than stock suspension. They also have a very wide range of adjustable dampening, but the range of adjustability of any adjustable dampers is going to be somewhat limited by the springs you choose.

Suggest you contact Old Guy to see what he may have found as he went through similar back travails. He finally sold his 6GT3 and bought a 7GT3.

I have a herniated disc for awhile but been keep taking the pain like a man. Pain killers are the necessary items for my weekends at the track. I would try switching back to regular sport seats before the suspension.

Its not cheap but its the best suspension I've yet sampled on a GT3. It's the 4 way stuff here : http://www.oakleydesign.eu/chassis_6
Think it will be sold in the US by Farnbacher Loles.
Anyway it smooths off the bumps whilst keeping the platform stable in corners. I haven't tried softening it yet as the track settings are fine for me on the road and vastly superior to the OEM bilsteins on my RS. Apparently it can ride like a C2 if you do soften it though.
p.s. considered motons but only dealer here seems to set them up like a cup car which isn't what I want as I drive mine on the road too.

I think you should look into JRZ RS dampers with a tender + main spring combo. An example is the 175lb tender with 550lb main front and 225lb tender with 700lb rear, or something similar. Together they form a progressive rate spring that greatly improves comfort during load transition and over bumps. You can make it ride beautifully and still get performance. The dampers are compression and rebound adjustable w/o the remote reservoir so no drilling. They're better than PSS9 / PSS10 for ride quality and adjustability. The price is also much much less than anything made by Moton.
Talk to JRZ Europe in Holland, find Erik Ras. If you can't locate him I will uncover his mobile phone # for you.

I have an intrax setup which is better on road & track. Mine is the first 996 with it on so tuning is being finalised, although it has had a fair amount of development on the 997 already so not much work left to do on it.
