Default LSD to be replaced what else should be done (R&P, LWFW, etc)??????

Title says it all. Right now I am in the process of making a decision on getting my toasted LSD replaced. While that is being replaced, what else should be done that would save on labor down the road? R&P, LWFW, clutch, RMS, etc?

Thanks everybody for the input!

Dell buddy, if it's one upgrade that is my favorite, it's the LWFW/clutch combo! The GT3 already has some quick throttle response but for the turbo porsche's it made the WORLD of a difference, overall it's a great addition to any car, especially a GT3!

The LWFW is a must!! Call Brian Coppins @ 740-593-8936 his company is contracted through Porsche Motorsport. He may have a R&P for around $2300.
The R&P really transforms the car. Here is what Brian hooked me up with;

964 102 239 80 flywheel
964 116 013 34 clutch
950 116 813 30 guide tube
931 102 111 00 pilot bushing
928 102 151 01 flywheel bolts

My engineer is actually in contact with him today as he knows him well. They are putting together some "suggestions" as to what to do.

Dell I hope your not going to put the Porsche LSD back in.
Take this opportunity to get a Gaurd unit. You'll be happier in the long run..

Probably not a this point since I am going to have to pay out of pocket for this. If it was still under warranty (expired 6 months ago) then a stock unit would be in order. I'm checking into all my options with my engineer and should have a decision made within the day.

Damn this sport gets expensive Time to go back to golf

Dell you should be happy that you don't live in Poland. Moreover, I've done all this mods and I still hadnt a chance to try it due to weather conditions.

Go for the LWFW and regearing, you will see some nice gains.
Figure out your gearing needs..rpm's for corner exit and at the end of the straights.
Brian C did my work as well.
I sent Greg an email to order some parts.

If money is an object only do the cup plates and be happy

it saves labor and the cost is not so much like 1000dollars for the plates and like 700 for the work

Dell: LWFW especially since the labor will end up either $0 or at least not much. R&P will start adding up. Maybe wait until go go after the LSD the next time. With your amount of track time you will be back.

If you only do plates no need to remove the tranny, will effect cost alot...also if you change the compkete diff you will need to shims and check everything and that cost alot extra
