Jason,
I'm pretty sure the crossmember has to go, everyone I talk to mentions this first. Doesn't sound like a fun job but how hard can it be?
According to the pet, the connectors are on the cable trans end. The shifter end connectors are two seperate P/N's, assume purchased as seperate items. Also lists two "threaded pins", a "securing clip", "oval-head screw" and a partridge in a pear tree. I don't know how up to date this drawing is, I could reference these P/N's but can't assure correct re: up to date, item numbers. I 'd be happy to send these numbers, as a reference, if you think it might help.

Thanks... Could you send me these part numbers...
Any info is better than none!
Crossmember shouldnt be too hard... However, if you dont have a lift, then everything is always harder than it has to be!
My email is gsr_10@hotmail.com.
Thanks,
Jason

Put my car on the lift today to check out the cable install. Looks like a 2-3 hour job, barring any happenstances. Less with an extra pair of hands. Now if it ever stops snowing. Geese, I'm getting fed up with this weather. Looks like I'll have to go to the opening day at the Glen on a snowmobile.

Cold ambient temps make it difficult to get much traction. I have to be a bit careful when driving on the street, PS2's, when the temps are below, lets say 55 deg f. May want to lower air pressures a bit for an autocross or get the tires warmed up somehow. A little exercise for the tires before you make your runs, might help. Consider your brakes as well, they like some heat in them also. Interesting question, cold PS2's vs cold cups. What da you guys think?
