Had/have ankle problems as well. Broke it in two places and dislocated it. The docs put it back together, plates and screws etc.. Broke it in the spring and didn't get back into the car till fall, lost the whole season, first seasion I owned the car. Still have some problems but the doc, when asked, seems to think driving the car is great therapy. Just have to know your limitations and act accordingly. Do the best ya can with what ya got. Hope things turn around for you, I know it's a PITA.
